Initiative
Jul 4 2008, 7:27 PM EDT Can players advance initiative to the next person in line or is it only the dm that can do that?. The reason i ask is because the way my group plays using virtual tabletops is for the game to be left on permanently, players log in when they want "leave" thier turn and the dm processes at the earliest opportunity (much like play by mail), obviously during initiative its important that i can keep the turns flowing, in klooge players can advance initiative themselves, once it goes to a "monster" or npc they cant advance it and i have to, i am looking for similar functionality. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Initiative
Jul 10 2008, 11:29 PM EDT Only the DM can advance Initiative for units you do not control. Units you control can click DONE to end their turn. D20pro is not designed to be an automated tool. Indeed, current licensing for the d20 system forbids any software from determining "success" rolls. A human must confirm success on attacks and such. So even if a player could advance initiative, attacks would still have to be resolved by the DM. Do you find this valuable? |
