Can "notes" be put on a map. Ie if you have a town map can notes be attached to various buildings that the players can then click on to read. We have this facility in klooge and find it very usefull Do you find this valuable?

I'm not answering your question, just wondering something, as I see Klooge mentioned elsewhere. maybe by you, not sure since it's all anonymous. What is wrong with Klooge that has you looking elsewhere? I've never used it and am just wondering. Do you find this valuable?

Notes aren't directly supported, but you can accomplish a very similar function by creating a "creature" (read-unit) and typing the notes in the description tab. When a player double-clicks on the "creature" they see a portrait (if provided) as well as the description. Do you find this valuable?

My group used Klooge for quite some time (about a year), pretty much because it had Mac support. However we found that Klooge was unstable for our DM & players, especially with the size maps/ monsters we work with (my DM makes maps with Pro Fantasy Campaign Cartographer). Also, it appears that Klooge is very slow to release updates while the d20Pro guys are much more engaged. After having used d20Pro for about a year and 1/2 now, my group feels overall d20Pro is a much better program overall.

They also have big events at Dragon*Con in Atlanta over Labor Day weekend... worth checking out if you can make it.
